Define what stability testing will monitor
Appearance, odour, pH, viscosity, phase separation and other relevant quality attributes are selected by product type. Real-time and accelerated conditions should form one risk-based plan.
Do not choose packaging on aesthetics alone
Material permeability, seals, pump performance, air exposure during use and filling tolerances may influence formulation behaviour. Testing with near-final packaging reduces uncertainty.
Keep changes under control
Changes to formula, raw-material supplier or packaging component may affect previous evidence. Document the technical impact and repeat the necessary verification before release.
